Resources Needed

• Donations of finances are always welcome. They are needed for both the continuing work of CDPD and for the fulfillment of our future dreams. Many children come from poor tribal villages; some live with their brothers and sisters and have no parents; others have no citizenship and therefore are not eligible to receive government benefits. Most of those who care for children with disabilities have little knowledge about caring for and the rehabilitation of a child with a disability, and they are not able to access medical services or education for these children. Donations will be used to train family members and to ensure that children with disabilities receive the services that they need.

• Purchasing Handicrafts made by both youth with disabilities and by mothers who are caring for children with disabilities. This provides income to the families. Gallery

• Volunteers who want to work with people with disabilities are accepted after a screening process. Volunteers do not have to be professionals. If you are interested please contact us first through our email address. Gallery

• Educational Supplies such as pens, pencils, notebooks, crayons, and school uniforms and shoes can be donated. Gifts of money can also be given for the purchase of these items.

• Supplies used in the home such as clothing, milk, hygiene supplies, and first aid kits can be donated. Gifts of money can also be given for the purchase of these items.

• Sponsorship of children attending the school preparation program and the schools for the blind and deaf are needed. The cost of sponsorship provides school fees, uniforms, books and supplies, school lunches and transportation.
